Dear Reader,
Miss us? We missed you too. 👋
It's been a little while since our last note landed in your inbox — but we didn't disappear, we were busy (more on that in a second). Consider this our official "we're back," and we've brought a lot to catch you up on: fresh event highlights, a chocolate video you'll enjoy, some big certification news and brand-new product manuals worth bookmarking.
We'll keep the engineering jargon on the shelf today — this one's a quick, easy read for your coffee break. ☕

Our social content highlights of the last weeks 📢
1. We just wrapped up IFT FIRST 2026!
This past week, our team was in Chicago for IFT FIRST 2026 (Booth 3150, July 12–15) — and what a few days it was. We met so many nice people, talked shop about smarter food & beverage processes, and had a blast doing it.
We even ran a little raffle at the booth — and our lucky winners walked away with product discounts and a box of genuine Swiss chocolate 🍫
Couldn’t make it to Chicago, or want to relive the highlights? We put together a short recap video on LinkedIn:
Speaking of chocolate… 🍫
Winning a box of Swiss chocolate is one thing — but do you know what actually makes chocolate this good?
It comes down to getting the details right, and viscosity plays a bigger role than most people realize. We broke it all down in a short, easy-to-watch video:
🎬 What’s the secret to high-quality chocolate?
A quick look at how inline viscosity control keeps every batch smooth, consistent, and delicious.
Latest releases you’ll want to read 📖
A couple of fresh reads we think you’ll find genuinely useful:
1. Big news: we're now UL certified!
Rheonics process control equipment is now UL certified for the United States and Canada.
The certification comes in two versions, depending on where you install:
UL HazLoc — for hazardous (classified) locations like oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical processing, where flammable gases, vapors, or dust may be present. Covers our SRV, SRD, DVM, DVP and more, for Class I/II/III, Division 1.
UL OrdLoc (NRTL) — for ordinary, non-hazardous industrial locations, giving you a recognized US & Canada electrical-safety listing for everyday process environments.
The takeaway? Easier approvals, smoother installs, and one less thing to worry about when specifying Rheonics for your North American projects.
2. Fresh off the press: new SRV & SRD manuals 📘
We’ve just released updated operating manuals for our SRV inline viscometer and SRD inline density & viscosity meter. Whether you’re installing, configuring, or fine-tuning your sensor, everything you need is now in one clear, up-to-date guide.
Bookmark them, share them with your team, and keep them handy.
