Dear Reader,
Good to have you back with us! 👋
This edition is all about making measurement easier — from lab-quality viscosity at the exact temperature you need, to retractable probes you can pull without draining the line, to smarter connections that get your sensor data into whatever system you already run.
Let's get into it.
Thanks for reading,
The Rheonics Team
In case you missed it 📢
1. Your free pass to SPE ATCE 2026 is waiting
We're heading to Houston for the SPE Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (Oct 21–23, 2026) — and we'd love for you to join us at Booth 1209. ATCE brings together the people and technologies shaping the future of energy production, and it's the perfect place to see how our inline viscosity and density solutions help operators run leaner, smarter, and more reliably. On LinkedIn, we're sharing a complimentary guest pass so you can come see us on the floor.
Fresh on our website: new and updated pages 🌐
1. STCM-IFP — lab-quality viscosity, measured on-line
Ever need a viscosity reading at a specific temperature, when your process runs somewhere else entirely? Meet the STCM-IFP. It automatically pulls a sample, brings it to the exact temperature you want, and takes a precise reading — all without an operator standing by.
Rock-solid temperature control — stability of ±0.005 °C, anywhere from 10 °C up to 150 °C
Fully automated auto-sampling — set it, and it repeats the cycle on its own
Measure at one temperature, several, or across a full ramp — perfect for QC and fluid characterization
Simple to connect — USB-C and RS-485
Perfect when process and QC temperatures don't match — or when the temperature won't hold still.
2. A fresh Contact page — let’s talk
We’ve made it easier to reach the right people. Our new Contact page puts our sales and engineering team a click away, so whether you have an application question or you’re ready to order, you’ll get to the right expert faster.
3. RPA Retractable Probe — updated page
Need to inspect or clean your probe without shutting down? The RPA (Retractable Probe Assembly) page just got refreshed. It lets you retract or isolate an SRV/SRD probe without draining the process, ideal for piggable lines, large pipes, and tanks.

Bringing Rheonics data into your control system? These three guides have you covered:
Using the S7 protocol with Ignition — Connect your sensors to Ignition SCADA over the Siemens S7 protocol for smooth, real-time monitoring.
Connecting sensors to ThingsBoard via Modbus TCP — A step-by-step guide to streaming your measurements straight into a ThingsBoard IoT dashboard.
Rigsite data over LoRaWAN & Wi-Fi — See how to transmit density and viscosity data wirelessly across a rigsite — no long cable runs required.
Bookmark these — they’re the kind of guides you’ll come back to.
Mark your calendar: meet Rheonics at events! 📅
